Shantymen Sing For Bluenose II

Bluenose II and The Shantymen – a natural fit! Twice during the summer of 2025, The Shantymen performed on the wharf in front of Bluenose II in Lunenburg during “Open Deck” hour. These events offer rare opportunities for tourists and locals alike to set foot on a majestic Nova Scotian fishing schooner, admire woodwork and rigging, and chat with crew members. Judging by the large enthusiastic crowds that gathered both times, the Shantymen’s singing seemed to perfectly add to the experience.
