Open Mic at Lightship Brewery with Shantymen

One stage. Dozens of voices. Unlimited talent! What great fun at the August Open Mic Festival at Lightship Brewery, Lunenburg. From first timers to seasoned pros, all in one of the best waterfront spots around. The event, organized by the Shantymen’s tenor Kevin Boon, became an instant success. The Shantymen were happy to contribute some raucous hauling shanties and enjoyed the performances of all participating musicians in a spectacular harbour setting.  Looking forward to the 2026 event!
