Shantymen Support Reindeer Run Dec.2025

Reindeers and Shantymen typically don’t share the same environments. But during the traditional Mahone Bay Reindeer Run they do - and get along just fine! The 2025 event again took place along Mahone Bay’s Main Street and raised funds for community programs, the Bayview School Playground and District Fire Department. As in previous year’s the Shantymen crew positioned itself near Betty’s Pizza Place at the turning point of the 3 km run. With about 700 (!) runners in the race participation broke previous records. The largest crowd so far that listened to The Shantymen!
